Margaret Renninger
Welcome to a counseling space where you are safe to be vulnerable and you can find the support you need to face difficult questions. Whether you're experiencing conflict in your relationships, struggles with intimacy, depression and anxiety, or your own unique obstacles on your personal journey, I work to meet clients where they are to help better understand what's happening now, how we got here, and what to do next. My lived experience as a queer polyamorous nerd helps me foster curiosity and openness to possibilities without making assumptions. The process of healing from past traumas and intentionally walking forward as your truly authentic self is rarely easy but you don't have to do it alone.
I'm passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and non-monogamous relationship systems creatively explore ways to build meaning, develop resilience, and grow into the futures you want to live. Your voice and agency are powerful elements of the counseling process and I look forward to collaborating with you to determine goals and priorities that will make a difference.
I graduated from Beloit College in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in modern languages and completed my master's degree in counselor education at University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in 2024.
